I've been working with the starterkit for the last three days using the coffee cup that it came with. I've been testing with both single and dual band bridges, which both seem to yield all right results in terms of being able to detect and energize the tags on the cup. I have been using an iPhone 13 Pro as my gateway.
Now I have two issues;
1. Presence in-app. Sometimes I will see the cup, sometimes I will not. This happens especially when pressing the refresh button in the top right corner. Sometimes it will reappear if I kill the app, and reopen it. I cannot tell whether this is an issue with the app, or the platform in general. Can anyone confirm or enlighten me on this?
2. Sensing. Currently, I only have temperature and fill-level as available data points despite the guide stating that location should be available as well https://support.wiliot.com/hc/en-us/articles/4409640012691-Starter-Kit-Getting-Started-Step-1 .
- How can I enable location, so that I can tell which bridge the coffee is closer to?
Temperature and fill-level are at best finicky, and at worst unuseable. I have tried filling the cup with water at different levels, and the low/high/not available is not particularly reliable. Sometimes it will show as high, even if the cup is empty. Temperature is at a stable 27 degrees celsius when it is empty, which is a significant difference from the actual room temperature. When pouring boiling water the temperature seems to go down. It would make some sense if it had been inverse, but the temperature seems to decrease by 10 degrees celsius, which can not be said to resemble any actual difference between the "stable" temp and the "new" temp.
- Has anyone had similar issues or an idea of how to debug?
Thanks for your inputs!
